You are your parents son because you are a man... not because you are male. And if I injected you with spironolactone and oestrogen every day: you would still be a man, regardless of what happens to your form.
As for me... I am my parents daughter because I am a woman... not because I am female. And taking sprio and estro doesn't change the status of my womanhood: it only makes it more apparent and me feel more comfortable with myself. I was a girl (quite possibly since before birth, at the least by early childhood) long before I began my second puberty, as any other woman was once a girl before they started theirs.
I swear... people not understanding the difference between sex and gender is ridiculous. It's like they were never told that personality ≠ physical form... did they need to be?
