In all, it's a flag that belongs to all Turks, not just the Uyghurs.
We cherish this flag, and yes, it represents for me, and for each of our brethren the Turks that live under foreign occupation.
kind of like the black-yellow-gold flag, which was raised as a standard to represent al german speaking peoples, in the failed revolution of 1848.
I do have a little bit of an insight into turkish culture, after all one million turks live in germany and have became part of our culture.
Or would you see those aswell as a oppressed people
