My grandmother had a younger sister with lung problems and the doctors told the family to move to higher ground... so they built this. That's an interior wall behind me and an exterior wall to the side. It's some sort of... I've heard people call it beadboard, but I'm not sure what it is.(September 15, 2014 at 5:46 pm)graciesings Wrote:
Very nice. As I'm a bit of a fan of home interiors, I find the walls of the room very interesting. Is this your room at home? What are the walls made of? Is that true angled slats? That would be ridiculously expensive to do in today's modern homes here. Does the house have a story?
The house is ridiculously sturdy, even though the foundations are shaky the walls are solid wood.
