Usually right after you try to scare us into believing. Funny, isn't it?
Quote:... however I have seen another side from some here. I do not have to imagine a hell it is well laid out in scripture what will happen to those who chose not to follow Christ.
The Bible holds considerably less meaning for me than Detective Comics #27, a Beatles movie, or even a nice tea and toast. It's bad fiction designed to herd people like you into an archaic cult. When you say "The Bible says..." my reaction is to shrug and say "So what?"
Quote:I did not make this up, it's been a part of what can happen to those who reject Christ from the moment Adam and Eve sinned. You wish on me all the terrible things you desire and I will rely on God through faith to take care of me, as long as my faith stays true then by the power of God I will have moved the mountain of trouble you want to come my way. Your attitude leads me to believe you are something less than a human that cares about others.
Ah, the butt-hurt Christian demonizing the non-Christians.
Again. I see not all that much has changed since Christians invaded my ancestral homelands, murdered our elders, destroyed our shrines and forced your dead-rabbi-on-a-stick cult upon us at sword-point a thousand years ago.
I care passionately about people, and about the future of humanity. That's why I want the mind-fuck of hellfire threats and childhood indoctrination to stop, once and for all. If it's necessary for your faith to be collateral damage on the way to that goal, so be it.
