Actually, it does: as technology advances, people get more stupid (by not being required to think that much anymore). Have you watched the "Idiocracy" movie? I think that's possible.
I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding about how evolution works. And yes I have seen idiocracy. Finally, the rapid advancement of technology will lead to people becoming far more intelligent rather than less intelligent.
