I would love to have seen Egypt in it's prime long centuries ago. Supposedly the pyramids were covered in stone that made them appear white from a distance, while the surrounding area was lush green foliage, with lakes and swamps. At least that's what I read once.
Now, it's all about the money. Money to camel or Arabian horse ride out to the Giza plateau, money money money.
