I didn't say I support the rebels, though I do support rebellion, in general, when it comes to dictatorships.

I believe you mean the last of their atrocities. Only time will tell if you are correct or merely biased. I will say this, though, coups that take over already corrupt governments tend to have some fucked up ideas themselves because they have been living in a fucked up system for their entire lives.

And well, I must say that this isn't a coup, though. A coup is an organized, military intervention of the same state, whereas here, it was the (nato-backed)rebels against the state, meaning, it's being led by a bunch of uneducated minds, who need to be herded by someone. That someone is the west. France gave the rebels the location of Qaddafi, and sat back, enjoying the show.

Oh, you mean how Gaddafi had people who so much as discussed politics imprisoned and those who wanted to be involved in political parties killed? Yeah, big change that will be.

And let me state only one thing.
The idea of democracy does not apply to everywhere. Democracy only works in places where it could actually work out. I don't think that democracy works well in the west, as to actually work elsewhere.
Just so that people can get the illusion of a choice, would it be worth to sacrifice your future?
