"What about poorly translated 17th century knock offs?"

touche
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

lol ... worst deflection ever.

Not only is it ridiculous to say that I (or anyone else) would worship science, you don't even address the point I was making...

It's very telling that you don't even attempt to deny that that stupid old book of yours trumps proven science.

You know, these bible-bashers believe Origin Of Species is an immoral book. If we apply your reasoning here, then from the bible-basher's point of view, it's not immoral to destroy this book they themselves believe to be immoral. More than that. These bible-bashers think evolutionist's attempt to keep Origin Of Species in school libraries is immoral. Works both ways you see?

If you want to burn a book, then burn every book. If you want to keep a book in existence, then keep every book in existence. If you treat one book one way and another book another way, what you've got is a form of discrimination. Burn it all or keep it all. The choice is yours.
The interesting thing about Truth is that Truth is still Truth even if the devil speaks it. The interesting thing about Lies is that Lies are still Lies even if God speaks them.
