I like everyone here. I understand that people mean no harm when they try to tell me to understand their side of the argument - maybe the tone is not what I expect but it doesn't kill me or anything. Smile

Careless?

"a 57-year-old woman died at an evacuation centre due to complications from her diabetes."

This is the report on the third person to die. Her death was probably not entirely due to the flood. I checked a few sources to be sure, and they are list this as the "third death".

You claim she was careless before you even knew the story. This is why you were called callous.

You are willing to disregard someones death before knowing the details, because defending your idea of God was more important than the truth.

adjective
1. made hard; hardened.
2. insensitive; indifferent; unsympathetic: They have a callous attitude toward the sufferings of others.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
The f**king janitor or the dude who runs the waterslide. Throughout history every mystery. Ever solved has turned out to be. Not Magic.

According to this logic, any child who plays in the street after being warned not to, should just be run over and his death dismissed with the wave of a hand and a callous, "He should have listened to the warnings." And you wonder why people are appalled at that kind of attitude.

Appeal to emotion. Callousness was your own addition note.
