Of course it is translated, but I wanted to tell it here. It's not really good when one tells it by a keyboard, but I know many epics ranging from Köroğli, Farhad and Shirin and of course Layla and Majnun.
I generally tell them at drinking tables when people start talking of love, I talk of these epics as though as I had experienced real love as theirs, and I know I have not, friend.

Maybe you just would like to read them through the internet.

Whoa, it's one thing to dislike rap, but another to accuse it of not being music.

Let's not be irrational here. Granted, anyone can come up with Lil Wayne level lyrics. However, there are excellent lyricists out there.

As a lyricist myself, I take offense :/

It's a skill I've worked on for years. Good rap is musical poetry. It's not easy to come up with clever word plays and multi syllable rhymes and still tell a story.
