Do you have evidence for that scepticism? Is this the right room for an argument?

Hello!

My fiance was almost Catholic. Whew, avoided that one! And he ended up deconverting me. A funny world. "3

Hi Skye! If you're serious about marrying a Cathoholic, you should have an understanding up front as to how the kids will be raised. If hubby wants to dump water on the baby's head and you object on the grounds that it's a silly, superstitious ritual, problems could arise.

Welcome!

I've told you once...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

"Religion is comparable to Childhood neurosis" Sigmond Freud

"If one wishes to form a true estimate of the full grandeur of religion, one must keep in mind what it undertakes to do for men. It gives them information about the source and origin of the universe, it assures them of protection and final happiness amid the changing vicissitudes of life, and it guides their thoughts and motions by means of precepts which are backed by the whole force of its authority."

SIGMUND FREUD, New Introductory Lectures on Psychoanalysis

"Religion is an illusion and it derives its strength from the fact that it falls in with our instinctual desires."
