Mind if I borrow this for my sig? It's a perfect description of my feelings towards 'holy' books in general and yours in particular.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

There's some extra ferrous irony in that statement as made by GC, too, Stimbo.

Nutritionists have determined that three GC posts constitute 96-98% of an adult's RDA of irony. It is dangerous to exceed the stated dose. Common side-effects include, but are not limited to: nausea, disorientation, loss of appetite/sexual function, general bewilderment. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention or watch Youtube videos about animals falling over.

No. Heaven is a state of perfection, so no one who is perfect is going to reject God by definition.
Mary Immaculate, star of the morning
Chosen before the creation began
Chosen to bring for your bridal adorning
Woe to the serpent and rescue to man.

Sinners, we honor your sinless perfection;
Fallen and weak, for your pity we plead;
Grand us the shield of your sovereign protection,
Measure your aid by the depth of our need.

Bend from your throne at the voice of our crying,
Bend to this earth which your footsteps have trod;
Stretch out your arms to us, living and dying,
Mary Immaculate, Mother of God.

No. Heaven is a state of perfection, so no one who is perfect is going to reject God by definition.

But if they were perfect, why would they need him?

What if angel-me wants to reject 'God'? I've never been an arselicker in this life, so any version of me that is forced to be one in the next life won't be me.

When, after you die? How is that going to matter?

Heaven must be empty then. Everyone's having a hell of a party!
I have no problem sharing a common ancestor with the apes; it's being related to some people that bothers me.
