Conspiracy Theorists (Or Conspiracy Nuts :P)

RE: Conspiracy Theorists (Or Conspiracy Nuts :P)
So, you believe that an all-powerful, global force will dominate the world, but hiding with fifteen friends in an unknown location will somehow keep you alive? It seems that if the NWO has predator drones, (and who are we kidding, we all know they do) you're fucked.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

The point is to avoid slave labor prison camps. Not to survive.

Then why not just off yourself and your friends before the whole ball gets rolling?

Edit: I'm not suggesting that, but it does seem that with your line of thinking, that is the logical conclusion.

Probobly because I my heart isn't right inside and If I was suicidal still I would also be homicidal. Best for me to not think such things, not beleiving god and with the realization that my morality is really insignificant. Best for me not to bother people and just live out in peace. Why bother hurting yourself when there is no point in it? But there are some sick reasons to hurt others. haha I need the evil, I need to understand why I am a good peson. Like my friends pentacostal family now tells me, I am a sadistic person, but I seem to do the opposite of what I am.

Your friends right, but everyone like me hopes that you are. We want to be crazy paranoid conspiracy theorist. Because it's such an unimaginably evil thing to do.

Congratulations are in order then, because you're doing a damn good job of being one right now. Especially since you're doing the typical regimen of one. Glorified claims, cherry picked information to back it up, biased sources as well for evidence to back it up. There's also the fact that you unbelievably pulled out the line 'prove it isn't happening' on us.

That last bit alone makes your whole argument null, void and given free reign to be mocked which others have already done so. You can't come onto a site where people who believe in evidence and proof come together and not expect them to be disdainful of your lack of either thing.

I do not believe in the NWO stuff or Illuminati, but some of those conspiracy theorists are very forgivable. Just consider some facts.
  • There were not weapons of mass destruction but lots of hype from the mainstream media that is sponsored by defense contractors.
  • The United States went into Iraq and Libya. There have been drone strikes in Yemen, Pakistan, and Somalia.
  • Virtually nobody denies that major corporations have significant influence over the government via lobbyists.
  • After deregulation of financial firms played a huge role in the recent recession, the original legislation (Glass-Steagall) that could have prevented that contributing problem was never brought back. Big banks appear in the top contributors list for both presidential candidates.
  • Historically, governments have been tyrannical and oppressed their people in awful ways. Even now, there are dictatorial governments like that around the world. (To me, it does not seem far fetched to wonder if history will repeat itself.)
  • Few people deny that civil liberties are at least gradually eroding after NSA whistleblowers coming out, PATRIOT Act complaints circulating, TSA searches being posted online, etc.
  • Do NOT take this as me buying the conspiracy theory, because I don't, but I saw a YouTube video where Alex Jones explicitly predicted the twin towers would be attacked and the government would blame it on Osama Bin Laden.

I could on, but the point is, the conspiracy theorists seem incorrect. But at least they are not as obsequious and naively trusting as many of the people who laugh at them.

It's not that I blindly trust the government to be good...I just trust them to be a bunch of bureaucratically inefficient, incompetent twits, is all.

Regarding the Alex Jones bit, the guy is constantly predicting attacks of all kinds. He was bound to be right once, and really, many others were saying the same thing at the same time.

I don't have it on hand, but I do recall there being several people calling out on stuff like that. To be fair, it was bound to happen eventually, especially since evidence of it leaked out to anyone willing to ferret it out. Being right once doesn't necessitate the man should be believed on all things or given too much credit.

Predictions based on the pattern of events is probability anyways. >,>
