Changing Our Password Policy
RE: Changing Our Password Policy
Yes, you will not have to do it again. Sorry for that inconvenience.

RE: Changing Our Password Policy
It's so easy to make a reasonably long password that's easy to remember. The first time I typed in Vae0letTheWitchOfBl00d it was memorized. Don't use it anymore, and it gave me a basic 'rubric' for other passwords. I have a lot of residual passwords out there that are ancient and terrible (1234567890x, \]=[;./'xQ, 0987654321xQ, 0987654321xQRevlon, 1q2aw3zse4xQ) from things I've long abandoned, and even my bank accounts have horribly insecure passwords (both accounts will be closed by the end of August).

Thanks for posting so much about proper passwords, Tibbers... you've made me infinitely more 'secure' online Smile

Here, Rayaan.... as a thank-you for your kind offer.

I hope so. Because I've changed my password no less than five times in the past 24 hours and if I have to do it one more time, I'm going to have to defect to some other forum.

Only two of those were down to forum policy. Please don't make out that we've made you change your password more than we have.

Changed it. Promptly forgot it. Got it reset. Now I have to come up with a new one and then email it to myself so I can change it on my other devices.

Hehe, well I can't help you there. Seriously though, you can make a memorable complex password by coming up with a funny sentence.

"The albatross has 3 friendly rats called Dave" is a perfectly valid and complex passphrase. Also highly memorable.
