Mark 1:9-11
9In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens opening and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”
John 1:29-34
29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ 31I myself did not know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32And John bore witness: “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. 33I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”
From feeling abandoned to feeling like a victorious man-on-a-mission.
Mark 15:34
34And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
John 19:30
30When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
These are two examples that I can think of from the top of my head. Maybe also the thing about the trinity where Jesus says in John "I and the Father are one" or something along those lines, but I'm not entirely sure about the arguments for and against.
It would be great if you could help me compile a list of verses that explicitly show the evolution of the Jesus story. I'm compiling this list and also a list of parallels between trivial verses in Mark and the OT/epistles as part of my research.
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it" ~ Aristotle
In John it's not all that clear that Jesus was actually baptised by him.
The two things I quoted from the cross are arguably mutually exclusive. How can Jesus be clueless as to why God has abandoned him and then the next minute he says 'it is finished' like he knew what was happening all along?

Could be that when Jesus cried out to the Father, all sin was being placed upon Him, when He said it was finished it could be He had received all sin upon Him and died from the burden.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Could be that the story that had been circulating for forty years had undergone some exaggerations and changes as it was passed from pillar to post before eventually being written down by some anonymous Greek authors who had no affiliation with anyone involved in the event other than the stories they had heard from the churches they, no doubt attended.

Strange how people can believe that the story of Christ changed so much in a short time after His resurrection, yet in the last 2000 years has not changed at all.
