If they shut up shop in protest, who exactly are they hurting? Who would have noticed if they hadn't told the press? As a wise man - my Dad - once said, if all the churches and priests went on strike tomorrow, nobody would notice or care. If all the dustbinmen went on strike, we'd be up to our necks in shit by Monday.
