I'm sorry Brian but "we atheists"? I've no love for Islam or indeed any other religion but I am curious to know who exactly it was that made you our spokesman?

I apologise. It was a generalisation. I dont claim to be appointed by anyone or to speak on behalf of others. However, I would think that any true Athiest would agree with the sentiment. Are not we all sick to death of hearing them prattle on with their false sense of hurt and insult over the slightest criticism and their demand for 'respect' especially islam.

No more than I am of any other religion ... Islam, the so-called religion of peace, stands only on its own in terms of the sheer hypocrisy of suicide bombings IMO and I suspect that has a lot more to do with them seeing their culture, their way of life being eroded by the West (IOW we are a lot more "to blame" for the actions of Islam than we might like to think).

A true atheist is someone who doesn't believe in gods, plain and simple. Many atheists disbelieve in gods and have very different views on religion.

Well a 'true atheist' just means 'atheist' then...

So that's why to sign anything else to atheism and that it's only 'true atheism' if it's that way is fallacious... what I wonder is if it's the NTS fallacy or not, it doesn't mention 'no' but it seems to imply that?
