Barack likes to spend? Really? Have you been paying attention? Two wars and a huge bailout were part of the previous president not to mention he started things off with a budget surplus (which he managed to piss away with a tax rebate right off the bat). This is on top of all the regular spending which Dubya did nothing to reduce (even his vp said "deficits don't matter").

The only time the Republicans seem to get worked up over spending is when the other guy is in charge. If Romney had won, nobody would have given him the slightest bit of grief over the debt ceiling and we wouldn't have even had to cut social security or mediare, either.

RE: Dear Republicunt Assholes,
You are correct, but the Republicans' hypocrisy on spending does not change the fact that Obama spent $5,000,000,000,000.

It's fairly deceptive, though. Spending wouldn't be an issue if we weren't in debt and when Dubya came into office, we actually had a budget surplus.

What's more, in a two party system like ours, you still have to choose between the lesser of two evils. Even if Obama likes to spend, we get more return for his spending than we do for any of what Romney wanted to spend on.

Aswell as I am aware that funds given to your country are used for investments which will never bring your country back on track.
"If there is one chicken i would like to pluck" (german saying) it would be greece and how they still dont even seem to get the gravity of their own fucked up situation.
I personaly hope that your country aswell as Spain, Ireland and Italy - who are under the "Rettungsschirm" and who show the willingness to get out of this mess will receive a debt cut, to get them back on track.
The union will continue! (I hope)

I am sorry if I have offended you, with my previous comment.

Alright, next time use one of these ----> Big Grin <---- for us to know you were joking.

Did he spend this money in Vagas or something? No. He's paying the bills that W Bush ran up. The primary contributors to our debt are the two wars, the Bush tax cuts, and the Bush bailouts. Even his spending programs, bailing out the auto industry and the stimulus, were not for fun but because W Bush wrecked the economy and the only alternative was to stand by and watch Detroit go bankrupt or the economy sink into a new Depression.

When Republicans agree to let the tax cuts expire and cut defense budget in half, we can talk about other ways to reduce the debt. Until then, they can STFU about all their pearl-clutching and "oh, won't anyone think of our children".

Yes, Obama has been a disappointment in many ways. You'll get no argument from me on that. I just want credit where credit is due. These were not Obama's wars, whether or not he had the political courage to end them.

The way I see it you have one party that likes to spend spend spend, and another party that likes to cut taxes and also spend. Neither is the "lesser of two evils" they're both equally contributing to the problem. You think the USA would have a $20 Trillion Dollar public debt if it actually had responsible leaders? Just wait and see what happens when their credit rating goes from AA+ to C. Obama will probably still insist that America is AAA!

Oh come off it. The biggest hypocrites have become the Democrats.

Criticize Bush's War on Terror and then directly kill more innocent civilians under Obama. Same goes for the ethical treatment of POWs (well whatever the US government calls those in Guatanamo Bay these days).

Champion tax raises, yet extend Bush tax cuts twice (well not all of the Bush tax cuts the second time around) even despite GOP opposition. Yes...that's right, the party behind the tax cuts came to the realization that extending those tax cuts is fucking retarded (the only ones they want to keep now are just obviously done for their big spenders).

Promote tougher environmental regulations and then sell out our environment to Chinese business.

Criticize lobbyists and then fill the President's cabinet with former lobbyists who have already done great harm to his administration.

Publicly supporting amnesty for illegal immigrants while at the same time as deporting more of them than ever before...that's right, for how much the GOP vehemently opposes the presence of illegal aliens in the United States, even they were not so cruel when they were in the Oval Office.

The biggest lie the GOP has made since Obama took office has been labeling that capitalist piece of shit as a socialist.

Right. We don't have a two party system. We have a one party system with two brands, both owned by the same corporate overlords.
