Sexual abuse 'in the DNA of Roman Church'

It would be interesting to dig into their records and into how they do things and see how many abuse cases and cover ups they have and how the way they do things may effect this.
The problem with the RCC was political. They chose a policy to facilitate cover-ups. The Anglican Church, and every other denomination and sect does not do this. There may be one-off cases of cover-ups here and there, and those should and would be universally condemned by the church officials.

What does sometimes happen though is that officials make the decision on whether or not to de-robe priests and other clergy for misdemeanours.

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
