I currently am a Christian, though I tend to doubt a lot and play much with panentheism. I like philosophy, specially philosophy of the mind and philosophy of time. And that's the thing. Tongue

Nice to have you here.Devil

maybe you are right on the superstition part, but I said Panentheism, not pantheism. They are similar though Panentheism is more woo Big Grin.

They're actually quite dissimilar... one is subscribing to a belief in multiple/many gods, the other that at least one 'god' is greater than the universe (possibly that the universe is infact a part of the being that is <god>).

Cool, huh? Smile

I think it may be possible you are confused for the similarity between the words. I checked wikipedia and the belief in multiple Gods is named Polytheism ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polytheism ) while Pantheism is the belief that God and the Universe are equilvalent, in a sense while Panentheism is what you described ( God + Universe).

You made me doubt though given that Pantheism sounds more in line with Pantheon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantheon_(gods) ) that is a set of Gods in a polytheistic worldview.Tongue
