But he was going to make a star anyway?
Yes, and?

Maybe, maybe not. There's no reason that he must.

I've always loved that site. It's almost like evidence, right there on the internet, that Jesus' daddy ain't perfect. I mean, how does a perfect God create imperfect people and then procede to inspire those imperfect people to create an imperfect holy book?

Another thing that gets me is that a supposedly omnipotent being is relying upon imperfect people to prove his existence.

He doesn't need anything with which to make the light. He can just make light.

You know what this is the problem with all of theism encapsulated in one really shit answer.

It is a vapid non-answer that would only satisfy morons.

And if you stab a White Walker in the back just so, with a knife made of dragon stone, you can kill it.

The point isn't whether God could do it or not, of course he could bend the laws of the universe he intended to create while creating the universe.

The point is that the absurdity of it all just reinforces the argument that the Bible was written by ass-backwards goat herders who accumulated pieces of the story together over the centuries and who had limited understanding of the natural world around them.

If God could do it that way, then it's not absurd. And are you really suggesting that people then didn't realize that sunlight came from the sun, or that plants shut up in a dark room die? Thinking
