Yes, that is a bit extreme. I believe we are having a mild heat wave. Normal for here is about 80.

90's are normal around here this time of the year, but it is supposed to be 101 on Saturday which is unusual on the coast. TWC says the humidity should be about 60%. That will put the heat index around 133.

It's only been in the mid-eighties here in Michigan, but being surrounded by the great lakes causes us to be saturated in oppressive humidity at all times.

You don't know what humidity is. Try 90% or more humidity and you'll understand why I drink a gallon of water or more a day. Today I had to change my uniform at midday because I was soaked. And boxer shorts are totally out of the question this time of year or else I get so chafed I can't walk. Not enough Gold Bond medicated powder in the world.

Oh and I've been in the Philippines. I know what hot is.
