What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Writing a book. You know, the usual.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition

But .. what about those Warriors?  The Thunder obviously have the more gifted athletes and in some sense the more skilled.  But damn do those Warriors play well together, plus so many of them see what the possibilities are offensively and anticipate well on defense.  Western Conference championship goes to the Golden State.

Next up:  Lebron surrounded by healthy star power.  I think Lebron gets what is making the Warriors successful and has been working to implement something similar in Cleveland.  Warriors could definitely lose to them in the finals.  Of course I don't rule them out however.

I hope this ends up being the Bulls-Jazz/Lakers-Celtics of the '10s.

Great performance, though. Holy cow, not a lot of teams could come back from down 1-3.

On the other side of the US, my Pens toughed it out and took Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals!!!

Right in your backyard.  Are you into Hockey?  I've never watched much.  The Sharks are in my area but wasted on me I'm afraid.

Pretty much all sports. I can literally watch any sport, so long as I have a dog in the fight.

Yeah, I do enjoy the Olympics and the X Games so I guess I have some flexibility too. I've fount it interesting to watch the kettle gliding sport with the brooms and darts so maybe I should give hockey another chance. I hear your team is head and shoulders above every other franchise. I don't think anyone believes the Sharks have a chance.

Curling is the shit!

I don't know about all that head and shoulders stuff. The Pens were the second seed in the East. And that was only after a coaching change following a disastrous start to this season. We have the best player in hockey, and the best bench (2nd/3rd line) in hockey, I think. All that to say that during the pregame, the announcers unanimously picked the Sharks to take the series in either 6 or 7 games.

In that case, I guess what I had been trying to say is .... go Sharks!

Just got home from work. It's been a shitty night, literally.
One person, I had just finished cleaning up, was seconds away from putting on a new pad, she coughed twice and sprayed caramel juice across the bed and onto the cupboard.
Luckily I was just out of the firing line.
I've had a shower since I got home but I keep thinking I can still smell it.
