There is no doubt that there are biological factors in explaining homosexuality. There is very good evidence that male homosexuality is at least partly X-linked, and there are good reasons why that can be explained in an evolutionary framework. There are very clearly also in utero factors- study after study in every society examined shows a birth order phenomenon. It's almost certain at this point that there will be a twofold explanation: genetics loads the gun, and maternal environment pulls the trigger. This is a rich area of research with great debate as to which particular genes are the most likely candidates, and the mechanisms for the birth order phenomenon, and I won't claim it's settled, but the evidence for X-linkage and birth order is pretty overwhelming.

*** As to "prison gay," I think people just really, really need sex, and affection. They'll get it where they can. And in male prisons, it's often about dominance and rape, not affection.

I had a budgie die from humping his toy too much. True story. Sounds like getting him a partner might have been the solution to curb his untimely demise.

One of mine was seriously spending about 4-5 hours a day fucking his little red bell. His ass feathers were wearing off and he was getting thin.

Now that he fucks his cage-mate, it's down to about an hour a day and they both seem to like it, and they look just glorious. Plus it's just adorable.

I'm astonished you think homosexuality is genetic.
I have never seen anything conclusive of this.
Please explain how "the attraction" is genetic.
Are you claiming that the tabula rasa might not be a clean slate after all?
