The claims by religious believers that god was teaching microbiology through scripture to iron aged superstitious bandits and warlords is silly.

Not germs; but for the hygiene, even the ancients had some manors and etiquette.

I keep a bottle of dry soap (lifeboy) next to me most of the time, it smells good ! that is for germs; the washing for prayer though is -in my opinion- for the hygiene most of all

We learned health practices and technology through trial and error. Culture is governed by evolution also. Practices that are hygienic are selected and are successful. God is not needed in this equation.

The human mind is a great creation, but we were taught through the orbits of the moon and the sun to count; encounters with wildlife taught us to develop defense mechanisms and heal our wounds -evolving little by little-, it's a perfect stage.

( Sura 30 Verse 20 )   And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].

Our legacy here on earth is a long chain of sexual interaction that produce unique instances of the first humans ever -Adam & Eve- who were created from dust.

Wait, wait, but the Quran says humans were created from clay which is not dust. It also says humans were created from blood clots and water. I can't bothered to link to all of the verses in my lunch break so I'll just provide this link:

Just to be clear clay is a catalyst for the chemical reactions that create the molecules that are found in cells. Animals are not made of clay at all. Charles Darwin said life probably started in a muddy pool and he was right.

"Our legacy here on earth is a long chain of sexual interaction that produce unique instances of the first humans ever."

You were partially correct.
