Does anyone know when season eight will begin?
IMDB still has not even made it known that there will even be an eighth season.

I wish the season numbering had caught up to where it left off from the beginning. That way we wouldn't get Facebook posts like "I can't believe it's been fifty years since Rose".
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I was at the first day of the Doctor Who Official 50th Celebration yesterday and there was no mention of it at all.
However, you should be very very very very excited about tonight. We saw some exclusive footage of tonight's special and it is going to be so so so good.
I might also know something about Matt's final scenes... Buuut we were told not to tell. You're totally going to cry, though.

Eh, the special wasn't so hot. Except for the good moments, that I assume everyone who saw it can identify by cameo alone. 
I liked it fine, I guess. I just feel like I should be more blown away by something as special as this.

Upon seeing it a second time, I like it more than I did. I still think it's got some problems, but... the cameos. The ending part was still really rad; I may have been tired the first time I watched it, given that the simulcast was at four in the morning.
