Would also appreciate your views on crocs.
No, flip-flops are the sexiest of shoes in my opinion, but crocs aren't hot at all.

I don't detest crocs, but most I have seen wearing them were "white trash" girls in a Pittsburgh-area Wal-Mart.

I have to admit that I really hate crocs. Uggs are really popular in my arena, and I did have a black pair 2 years ago.

Definitely true! Less is definitely more. For my taste in women's shoes, I value shoes that are either comfortable or revealing. Flip-Flops tend to be both.

Flip flops are super casual for me. I rarely wear them.

From a professional viewpoint, uggs are pure poison. Crocs are actually pretty good for beach type shoes.

From an aesthetic viewpoint I don't find either very attractive.

I can appreciate a girl in boots.

I'm a fan of boots, but I feel a little too old for uggs.

Boots yes. Uggs no. To call Uggs boots is a slur on proper ankle covering footwear.

Boots are a beautiful thing. The way that leather conforms around a calf or flexes around and ankle is poetry in motion. They conceal whilst still subtley drawing attention to what they are concealing. They can be dressed up or down and improve almost any outfit. From a practical perspective they support the ankle and offer improved exteroceptive feedback. They hold the foot higher than shoes which means there is less likely to be an issue with hypertonic flexors (gripping with the toes to keep the shoe stable on the foot). They are sexy, whilst also being comfortable and flexible.

Uggs however are mostrosities. They are usual zero heel or close to it, which means functional tightness in the triceps surae. They allow the foot to move laterally which means most people walk on the inside of the heel, which wears out creating a lateral wedge affect. They give the illusion of support without any ACTUAL support at all. They are shapeless and formless and create all sorts of weird muscular patterns during gait.

I really, really hate them.

Lol burn.

I have a pair of fluffy indoor shoes I wear when I get blisters, they're more comfy and cushiony than uggs. I don't know why uggs are so expensive, blows my mind.

These are juju jelly shoes. They're not as cheap as they look either, when it started becoming a trend, I ... well, I didn't get it.
Prettier ones:

Besides looking ugly, I feel like they would rub against your skin and give you blisters. Some of the PVC see through shoes are pretty, but I don't think I would ever get them because of that concern. I grew up in the 90s and I've had plastic shoes and they gave me blisters.
