My first thought was of this.

The Judas chair. The victim was placed, naked, atop the pyramid, with the point in either the anus or vagina. They were invited to confess and if they did not satisfy the inquisitor they were slowly lowered onto it, such that their orifice was slowly ripped open.

However, that's not really the point. Some atheists are dicks. Its the adult equivilent of the 7 year old on the playground taking childish delight in telling the other kids who don't know it yet that santa isn't real.

But one can't generalise. Atheists are no more cruel than christians, men, gingers or germans.

An atheist is a person that rejects the idea of a god, other than "I don't believe in god(s)", nothing else can be inferred.

Atheism is not a worldview, it's part of a vaster one.

Gee, I didn't know it was cruel to do everything in my strength to discredit the pernicious ideas that Christians and other religious adherents brainwash children with: humanity is evil and you will suffer in hell for eternity if you don't squander the ONE life you have adhering to our religious bullshit.
