I, too, have never seen one except on the internet.

I do remember being extremely appalled at one where a man raped his daughter for many years but found Jesus, and suddenly, everything was just hunky dory.

ETA: What's really pissed me off are the little pamphlets they hand out to my son when he's trick-or-treating.

I encountered some of these booklets when i was a child. One in particular, depicts christian persecution, and bibles being burned street by militia etc. I asked about this and my parents told that this is what to expect, and in some countries, people are put up against a wall and shot for their beliefs. But thats ok, because we'll go to heaven won't we. Somehow i still felt terrified.

I think I've only ever found one proper, honest to god Chick Tract, dropped into my mailbox by some thoughtless godwad looking to scare me straight. That was good for a laugh.

Slightly more frequently, we get weird religious literature from the Jehovah's Witness temple, and that always seems to have Jesus petting a tiger on the cover. It's kind of awesome. Tongue

I have had much the same experience living in the opposite side of Australia (Victoria). The only evangelistic tracts I have found, apart from the Jehovah's Witness ones were pretty amateur, nothing anything like those Jack Chick has written.
