RE: Jesus' Wife
The christian faith began and flourished for many years without any written accounts of Jesus' life and teachings. There were countless writings during the 300 or so years between Christ's death and the adoption of the scriptures, although most of the books were already informally accepted by the church by then. The current new testament was selected because those books supported the faith as held by the christian church at that time. The other writings didn't. People can write anything they want. The bible doesn't mention Jesus being married, so we assume he was not. If he was, why would having sex with his wife be sinful anyway?

The sinful part of it was all that kinky stuff that jesus and his wife did.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste -- don't pollute it with bullshit.

Venerating holy scat is not good for spreading the word amongst Romans who bath 7 times a day.

The papyrus dates from sometime between the sixth and ninth centuries, possibly the fourth, but regardless, it is far too late to really affect any historical perspective on the original Christian movement.

If Jesus had a wife she should be considered a saint. The guy was a freeloader, a glutton and a winebibber. He didn't work, didn't have a home, and spent all of his time rambling around the countryside with 12 guys. He had a lot of prostitutes as friends. They were always giving him expensive gifts, like he was their pimp. And he thought that God was his daddy.

Your keen understanding of the scriptures amazes me.
