I'm not sure why I would care about issues that reflect badly on Barack or the Democrats, as I'm not fond of either. As far as I'm concerned, the Dems and Repubs are just two sides of the same coin(granted, one side being decidedly crazier and more dangerous than the other), as both of them seem to part of the true problem facing our country, and that is the corruption of money in our system. I just enjoy pointing out how eager you are to display your stupidity and blatant hypocrisy. Just think of me as an "A Thiest Agitator."

As for the soldier, do you have a link supporting these e-mails? All I've heard of are the words of the soldiers he served with, and given how clique-y the military can be, I'm hesistant to condemn someone simply based on the words of his fellow grunts.

The reason that Obama didn't break the law is pretty simple. The law wasn't designed for this circumstances. The purpose of the law that was passed was to prevent Obama from just releasing prisoners unless he informed congress within 30 days. But this was a trade for prisoners. Not covered by this law.

If he was a deserter, obviously he didn't belong in the military. Soldiers who are not immediately engaged in a combat situation should be allowed to give notice and leave the armed forces, with no penalty beyond perhaps repaying the government an early termination fee. Not only is that the right thing to do when you're waging a war that has very little legitimate value in terms of national defense, but it means that the country will be forced to approach such things with a great deal more sobriety.

Are you going to tell me that their job is vital and special? So are cops and firefighters, and they can walk out whenever they want.

I don't know why you'd even look through the links though since you basically implied that you'll probably dismiss the words of his fellow grunts....and you probably won't accept the sources either since they don't align themselves with you politically...
