Christian motives to lie.

RE: Christian motives to lie.
Personally I don't think most xtians are lying when they tell you what justifies their beliefs. It is common for everyone to interpret their experience in terms of their operating assumptions (which they might even think are divinely inspired). We all do it (except for the invoking divinities part). Remember lies are untruths told when you know them to be untruths. Most xtians are operating under the effects of Kool-aid. They believe that shit. (We just believe different shit.)

Facts would be nice. Obvious ones are fine, though probably not worth pointing out if they're that obvious. Verifiable ones are better.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Two I remember in particular:

One claimed that he saw a missionary in Africa hold up a bible when someone tried to shoot him and the bullets magically . . . I mean "miraculously" changed direction and missed.

Another claimed that he was at a faith healers and witnessed someone's leg grow longer - not grow back, but grow longer to match the other leg.

The thing is, there are people who fall for these obviously bullshit stories.

In my opinion being for Jesus is lying.

You mean like assuming that all the atheists in the thread were talking about all christians everywhere, when nobody has used language that would even lead one to that conclusion like, say, the phrase "all christians"? Dodgy

Not liking assumptions is fine, but try to call out assumptions that are actually present, and not the ones your weird, hypersensitive persecution complex desperately needs there to be. Because, again, nobody even insinuated this was a problem with all christians; in fact, a lot of the posts here were discussing specific cases, which is literally as far from a generalization as possible.

Oh Jesus Christ. You've got to be kidding with this. Do you so badly need to be persecuted that you would intentionally misrepresent (lie about) what has happened in this thread? Wait... what's that thing? Oh yeah. Irony.

BTW- you don't love me. That's also a lie.

Ok... in your opinion: are ALL Christians telling the truth when they say the only way to salvation is through Jesus?

I said: "I love all of God that is in you". That is a TRUE statement. But, you aren't interested in anything but your pov. Just like Exlax.

What? That the vast majority of Christians are not like your "couple"?

That isn't factual?

I never argued that, "sir". I merely endorsed your promise of facts.

I know. It's not directed at me, but I'll take it anyway. No, I don't believe any Christians are telling the truth when they say that. I also don't think they're lying. But that could just be my bias showing since I've never known parrots to lie.

So what motives are those?
