So the Koran is just a book..but has a special "confirming function" internally that proves itself, and is better than any other book, because reasons. Sounds reasonable.

It is reasonable, but sometimes I just make contention from the Quran to see peoples' perspective. . if they can dispute the Quran through valid logical premises from the Quran itself. . that's it. . nothing else.

I think it's only reasonable you provide the examples because you're the one claiming the quran has "great ideas" in it. We can see from there whether they're truly great or unique to the quran, and if the quran is really needed or I can get by fine without it.
