This reminds me of how the Soviet leadership would sometimes commit people who weren't deemed ideologically correct on the grounds that one would have to be insane not to see the good sense of their Leninist/Stalinist bullshit and/or toe the party line. Just another reason I roll my eyes when theists try to tar all atheists with the crimes of the Communist regimes, ignoring the obvious parallels between their -- the theists' -- religions and the state religions of the Communists.

@Archangle: Were you always an asshole, or did that start when you began pretending to be an atheist on an atheist forum?

Mentioned this to a friend and he suggested the mental institute might have saved the guy's life, if the family didn't have him committed the local Islamic franchisee would kill him.
