That might be the case too. The 50's was a massive change in terms of adding "God" everywhere in the US, but that's communism for you...always ruining things.

If I referred to anything being a god, I'd call it wikipedia lol

I recently made a speech at my school about public school prayer, and brought up the pledge and 'under god' being shoved into it in the 1950's.

As interesting a topic as I genuinely find this, if, and I am not implying, insinuating or assuming anything, this has anything to do with religion, it is a less then weak attempt. I see no link.
