Oh, what a fucking profound, useful statement. Why didn't he think of that before? You hear that, PerfectRecall? All those problems you're having, just stop! Make them not happen, and then they won't be happening!

PR, don't expect anything more than these kinds of nasty, vapid comments from GC. Ever since he realized he can't defend his beliefs effectively at all, he's decided a better use for his faith is to just be a terrible person.

I'll help you out, GC Here's the ridiculousness of your 'argument' in illustrated form:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

And I've had a few close calls.

My parents got "advice" from friends whose son turned out gay, and took my phone and searched through messages and everything. Another time all of my emails. Another time my computer when I had left it unlocked. It makes you nervous / constantly cautious. I was only safe in my head.

The only thing I could potentially find funny is how I somehow turned out to be all of these things.

What I found funny was this, I wasn't referring to religion. If you are having internal stresses why not change, seems you've chosen to go against most of what your parents stand for. What part of North Carolina are you in I have family there.

Maybe -- follow me here, this is a tricky thought -- just maybe his sexuality is his own? Maybe, just maybe, his conscience is his own, and not subject to blackmail from his parents?

I don't know about anyone else, but my love for my son is not subject to him sharing my views on theism or my preference for women.

I guess maybe you and I have different definitions of -- or criteria for -- love.
