Since everything is made of particles, I thought that was kind of understood.

There's no need to find proof against such an assertion no matter the details, whether particles or magical clay. That's just not how it works. You don't need to rebut any arbitrary assertion, and especially not default unfalsifiable ones.

I find it strange that no theist offered their take on it. It is just science. No faith required it either is or it isn't plain and simple.

But coming back to the OP - I personally am looking forward to the times when schools can have a Gev collider in the backroom and this week's topic is making it go *bang* making some quarks

Thats why I was excited about the "desktop" size collider. I think we are at the base of a mountain of information if we can get more critical thinkers working on different experiments proving different theories.
