Oh, I need to stop by TTA. I don't think I've checked in since October.

Funny, I was just reading your interaction on wanting to debate a x-tian robvalue.

We have our warts, but I’ve grown very attached to a great many people there.

I don’t think we have as many long-standing theists like you guys have, truth be told we have only one. All others are usually drive-bys, some stay longer than others, some more coherent than others.

I’m sure like here we have many young adults looking for support because of family issues with their atheism. Some of the stories are jaw dropping. I like to think we provide a bit of helpful advice. A recent poll we took showed that we tend to be long in the tooth which means many of us have a bit of life experience to share.

I find support in ways I don’t get irl. Sounds funny to me just writing that but it’s true.

The posts run the gamut from brilliant to snippy, sincere to dickish.

I’ve rambled long enough.

I drop by usually once a day. TTA is a good spot...but it isn't "home."

P.S. - on that missing orangutang...use your nose to track him down.

Thank you very much for your description Smile It sounds great. Maybe I'll head over there to check it out!

Yes I think the support element is very important, I would see it as probably the biggest thing. I've seen people be supported on here, and I like helping them and it warms my heart to hear of new atheists breaking out of the religion jail Smile

Yeah, debate would be cool. But it just seems impossible. Even the professional debaters don't debate, they just infuriate and sling too much shit to be cleared up. Painfully dishonest, but apologists are never anything else.

Hey Min, wassup.

As for places being home it’ll be two years for me at TTA in a few days, hard to replace the history with people so I know what you mean.

On more than one occasion, if I recall correctly.

We don't miss him.

One and the same. Total followers of Veridiblahblahnism = 2

But to be fair his dog doesn’t know any better.
