There are lots of people giving it a bad name.

I hate guilt by association. Blasting religion as an idea is one thing, but outside that we should be looking at the individuals first, because that is what we all are, individuals.

I get atheists all the time who tell me I make them look bad. BULLSHIT, if someone does not like me, aim your anger at me.

And he does it very well.

BINGO!

I have said attack the idea, that does not mean you can end it by force. But you have no choice but to point out the elephant in the room.

Religion is merely an excuse to form a group. It does create safety in numbers, but it also pits itself against other groups and even causes infighting.

You can't get rid of it by force, but the more people that accept this reality the less excuses for violence can be made.

I get where you're coming from, but there are se differences to be made.
Atheism, as a way of thinking, is much more individualistic than religions. Also, most of the times, atheists don't do things because of their atheism. I mean, atheism is not a religion and does not define the atheists as completely as christianity does a christian.
(dear dog I hope I'm clear)

With religions such as christianity or islam, the lines get really blurred, so it gets hard to distinguish between the people and the religion itself. Right now, I think that we, as the western world, judge ideas more from the people that represent them than from their own intrinsic value. Which is not necessarily right, of course.

NO! Atheism is not a way of thinking. It merely means "off" on god claims, nothing more.

It is not a economic system. It is not a political party. It is not a loyalty oath. It is not a moral code.

There are plenty of atheists I run into whom I do not agree with, or like.

This is the fucking problem with humans in general no matter what label they hold. You are an individual first. Your labels do not make you anything special.

The average of leanings does not mean the future will keep any leanings. The atheists living today will not be around in 100 years or 200 years. There is nothing stopping another Stalin outside knowing we are not above evolution or cruelty ourselves.

Do not treat "atheist" as anything less or more than "off". We owe ourselves as much scrutiny as anyone else. Do to less is to repeat the same mistakes we rightfully condemn.

Oh dog, I wasn't clear at all. I agree with you mate, and I also said that atheism does not define a person as much as religions do. What the heck?

Right now, maybe. But that is because right now, we are the minority so we are more empathetic right now. That does not mean future atheists after our deaths will be as empathetic. Our empathy is in our evolution, not in our labels.

If any Jew or Muslim wants to claim it is a race, then do a DNA test and Jews and Muslims can find out if they are a separate race. That is not what they will find though.

Shocking news here, but it turns out he's a total hypocrite who would of been executed many times over again by his own ideology:

Here's one of his tweets...

There is nothing called an "extremist" Muslim or a "moderate" Muslim. There is simply a Muslim; the one who submits to the commands of Allah

He has a point..
