You're not serious?

RE: You're not serious?
I scanned the entire article and noticed something interesting. In a defense of Islam's dogma, there was not one quote from the Koran. Instead, we have argument by mere assertion, which also attempts to leverage what the author observes as popular opinion.

You'd think in such an avid defense of a religion, he'd be quoting the shit out of the source material. Makes you wonder that even he sees his argument is bullshit.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

There's reasons why in other threads I said there's disagreements in the feminist movement. Typically, this is the kind of person that will get criticism; a Muslim feminist... Seriously? Not going to be an ass, but it doesn't make any sense to be a feminist and support a religion that openly has some of the most misogynistic content ever, so sexist that even sexist people think it's too sexist.

Considering this is a magazine about intersectional feminism that deals with other issues like gay, trans*, men, black people and other groups rights I'm pretty sure this is not a position supported by the majority... As a man, I consider that I can't be pro equal rights for women if I am religious; in fact, if I am religious I can only be pro-rights for straight male believers; everyone else is inferior and as much as this sounds assholish, it's the truth - Christianity does that as well.

Everydayfem is actually one of the reasons I support modern feminism, but there's articles with BS like in every other place - That is one example; but as with always, you have to allow non-atheist feminists to speak their voices, it's freedom of speech

This is my favorite radical feminist rant of all time: PIV is Always Rape

Some juicy snips:

Quote:Intercourse is the very means through which men oppress us, from which we are not allowed to escape, yet some instances of or PIV and intercourse may be chosen and free? That makes no sense at all.

As FCM pointed out some time ago, intercourse is inherently harmful to women and intentionally so, because it causes pregnancy in women. The purpose of men enforcing intercourse regularly (as in, more than once a month) onto women is because it’s the surest way to cause pregnancy and force childbearing against our will, and thereby gain control over our reproductive powers.

The fact intercourse causes so many infections and tears and warts attests to the unnaturalness of intercourse, that it’s not meant to be. The vagina’s primary function isn’t to be penetrated by a penis but to eject a baby for birth. They are two muscle tissues / sphincters pressed against each other to help the baby be pushed out. Penetration of the penis into the vagina is completely unnecessary for conception.

I feel sorry for her, actually.

That's some deep disturbing shit right there. I'm guessing someone is an idiot or suffered a very significant trauma that led to this. Not something that any conscious rational person would actually support, consensual sex brings great benefits to all parties involved

What.

No, really. Can anyone translate what she's saying from delusional to English?

Is it even necessary to point anything out? This is one of those weird statements on the verge of stupidity and insanity. I really wish she was trolling, but I'm almost sure she's not.

This is actually terrifying.

I only managed to read half of it. What's most disturbing is that 26 people like this. The comments below aren't any better.

Well not important, my opinion still the same, in fact, it may help explain the cluelessness Smile

I stopped at patriarchy i couldn't go any further than that.... considering its one of those kinds "feminists" they clearly have no idea what the fuck they are talking about.
Clearly in Islam and Muslim faith they promote patriarchy so... yeah....
