Actually that reminds me of a book on my shelf that I recently bought, which I plan on reading in another month or so: Julian Barbour's "The End of Time: The Next Revolution in Our Understanding of the Universe." I'm guessing that should clarify things a bit.
I haven't which the whole thing but this is interesting.

I think my brother showed me this a while ago, though I don't recall if I made it through the whole thing. It was definitely interesting but somewhat difficult to process and a lot of questions remained. Thanks for the share!

I think the point is the universe is like cartoon flip book. That particles don't move but we apply probabilities to them. I don't understood it much. I wonder if probability interpretations are important to this?

At the end he talks about George Berkeley and he is kind of wrong about Berkeley. George Berkeley wouldn't claim you and chairs don't exist. He would say of course you and chairs exist, I see you and chairs!

I don't know why. Brian Greene explains it much better for the layman. I love this guy.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

RE: Time
Well with a black hole per say you can view any moment in time but consequence you will die.
But using it as time travel is possible if you want to skip over thousands to millions of years in a few moments.
Time dilatation is possible it happens with GPS technology but you can do it with Saturn since its well big enough and well
safer than flying about a black hole or such entity in space.

Time only exist in our minds, if we as humans weren't here, there would be no concept of time, so time would be here.

Time does exist its hard to explain the physics of it. Like space and matter nothing existed before the sudden expansion of space and time. So yes time does exist. But our concept of time is good enough but it has its own flaws. If we had to go with universe time geeze.. the night mare that would be.

No, sorry I cannot agree, if there was no humans with their theories of time, then where would time be, it just doesn't exist.
