Maybe recognizing that there isn't a clear demarcation between religion and non-religion? People can have purpose and over-arching guidelines without believing in gods.

Here are excerpts from a MacArthur speech that sounds religious to me.
Quote:Duty, Honor, Country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be.
...
The unbelievers will say they are but words, but a slogan, but a flamboyant phrase.
...
But these are some of the things they do: They build your basic character.
...
They give you a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions, a freshness of the deep springs of life, a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of an appetite for adventure over love of ease. They create in your heart the sense of wonder, the unfailing hope of what next, and the joy and inspiration of life.

EDIT: I don't know about the NEW New Atheism. I was late and missed the original New Atheism. I do like lima beans though. Smile

They can also do that without religion.

Which is funny because some people claim we get our morals from the bible. If we did you know we wouldn't be this modernized let alone on computers.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.
