Definition of inherent (as per webster):

a permanent and inseparable element, quality, or attribute

If so, why do you believe this and how did you come to that conclusion?

Everything has value, but value isn't inherent to anything. Value depends on who does the valuing and what sorts of things they value. Catholic doctrine has humans being valuable in the sight of God, but that's still not an example of inherent value. Something of inherent value would be valuable even if no one wanted it, and that doesn't even make sense.

I don't think anything has 'inherent' value. Value by definition is a judgment about something by a mind, as in a mind is required to place the value in the first place and thus the 'value' of something isn't inherent to the object/idea itself.
