Whiplash (2014 film)

Shame (2011 film)
Amour (2012 film)
Drive (2011 film)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011 film)

Not to mention that some of them are re-makes of European movies or actual European movies. And yeah welcome to the world of adults for liking real movies.

Sure, they're not really arthouse. You might understand why I phrased it like that or why I even included some cringe-worthy movies in there if you took a moment to understand the subtleties involved in trying to reach a wider audience. Check out my exchance with BG. You might get it.

Lose the attitude and contribute something to the thread, please.

It was just a polite way to say "if you think action movies are crap, then you're a retard, so go back to watch your boring crap and stfu about action movies". I'll keep for myself the rest of my opinion about art movies. An opinion you will not like.

Then why post in a thread dedicated to art movies? It's in the title.

When I posted the title was just "your favorite films" and nothing suggested it's about art BS.

Bold mine.
Not nothing. The OP did. I admit to the title fuck-up, though. It was part of a shameless tactic employed to attract people with shitty taste.

Oh, I see. That explains why most of OP's picks were well outside the art-house genre.

I don't like art films. But I once filmed my dick for a minute or two. I erased it, but it was still better than any art film I've seen.
