People are only pissed off at Hitler because he was a white man who killed white people instead of non-whites.  They aren't really upset about the war itself since whites have always fought each other but generally kept the killing to the military targets.  If Hitler had been killing blacks in Africa it wouldn't have been a big thing at all.  Hell, the US routinely burned people alive without a second thought.   But those victims were Japanese so it was OK.

Yet we're not talking about religion. We're talking about the premise of jews being a race and having too much influence. Religion doesn't factor in what OP says. And that's exactly the good old antisemitic argument used some 80 years ago.

They're 2 percent of the population and 20 percent of Congress, and they run most of the banks that wrecked the country, they've gotten us into 2 wars in 10 years and are just itching to get us into a third. There are a lot of good repub christians who gave Netanjahu standing ovations at Congress and they are as opposed to the peace deal as this guy is.

And what about the rest of the jews in Conngress? Do they all hold the same position? Have you checked on their individual records? What's that about 2 wars? Last time I checked neither Bush nor Cheney are jewish.

Leopold of Belgium did kill well over 6 million black Africans so why isn't he the model for all evil? Even Churchill committed chemical war crimes against the Kurds and allowed 4 million people in Bengal to starve to death. But let's keep pretending Jewnicorns have been the only victims.

No one is saying that Jews have been the only victims. What is being said is that your stereotype is shopworn from overuse, and it's also been pointed out some others who've used the same tropes.

I'm no apologist for Israel; they have certainly committed war crimes against Palestinian civilians, and I myself think that America should stop the $3 billion or so per annum that we grant, not loan, them, at least until they start playing our tune and work towards a meaningful rapprochement with the Palestinians as we wish. But at the same time, shit like "Jews controlled the banks which caused our 08 collapse"is almost certainly selective vision, given that that collapes was fueled more by Americans taking out loans they were unable to support.

Isn't that a strange way to conceptualize the 08 crash, the notion that a small group of people were "in control", regardless of who that group was? We crashed because it turned out that the smart, capable people in control of our financial industry were, in point of fact...neither smart, capable -nor- in control.  Didn't have much to do with people taking out loans they couldn't afford either, far as I know (though that's a great way to shift the blame and I'm sure that a faction of those involved would very much like for people to believe it to be so).  Say it with me......"exotic financial instruments". As already mentioned.....I'm not sure what that has to do with teh jooz, or why it would be useful to pin it on them?

I can't quite do that as I'm not up on the US situation but in the UK, more Jews are opposed to US political involvement in Israel than are for it and Jewish politicians have spoken out against it (e.g. Ed Milliband - the Jewish Times labelled him as 'pro-Palestine'). So the issue isn't one of Jewry, it's one of local politics.
