WHAT REMAINS...

RE: WHAT REMAINS...
I think I'm marked as being an organ donor but once I'm actually dead they could chuck me off of a bridge for all I care.  Razz

Ha! Sam Elliot is not who I thought he was. He's that Western guy.

I've been hearing lately about "natural" or "green" burial and it appeals to me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_burial

I wouldn't mind having my body do some good after my demise, but I don't feel like I 'should' make it available for whatever utilitarian purpose others may put it to. I'm not enough of an exhibitionist to want it pumped full of plastics and creatively dissected for public display. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodies:_The_Exhibition Though I might feel differently if I had a body that deserved more recognition, but I doubt it. I realize as Cato says that whatever objections I may have will be irrelevant once I'm dead but the living will be less distressed to know they are doing what I would have wanted when alive.

So attention everyone. When the time comes, I do desire that all the lovely molecules which have served me so well be made available for uptake into living things.

Hmmm... Metal burials... I'm tempted to reconsider
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I'm marked as an organ donor. Told my wife, after that to be cremated. No need to waste money on a casket, and have people remember me as I look in it. Nope, give the good organs to those who need them, burn the rest. Put the ashes where my loved ones desire.

@Exian, what's a party hole though?

3 minute clip in link from Going Deep with David Rees: How to Dig a Hole. One of my favorite shows that only got one season :/
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

My organs are no good to donate, but I definitely want it to go to research. I've got plenty of issues, so maybe they can learn something from chopping up my brain. I do have to take into consideration what my wife would like, however.

I would also consider being cremated in a giant bonfire, like when Luke cooks Darth Vader's body. That's pretty metal, right?

I don't like to think that far into the future. Somehow I feel weird about donating organs. Cremation sounds comforting
