Theophilus Eugene Connor, known as Bull Connor (July 11, 1897 – March 10, 1973), was an American politician who served as an elected Commissioner of Public Safety for the city of Birmingham, Alabama, for more than two decades. He strongly opposed activities of the American Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. Under the city commission government, Connor had responsibility for administrative oversight of the Birmingham Fire Department and the Birmingham Police Department, which also had their own chiefs.

Connor enforced legal racial segregation and denied civil rights to black citizens, especially during the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's Birmingham campaign of 1963. He became an international symbol of institutional racism. Bull Connor directed the use of fire hoses and police attack dogs against civil rights activists; children protestors were also subject to these attacks

Aside from harming minorities the other reason for infiltration is to find out what the other side knows.

Alabama town revolts after mayor, judge, prosecutor and cops set up scam to rip-off citizens

The police department of a small Alabama town was nearing bankruptcy due to a lack of ticket revenue, according to AL.com. The cash-strapped department and city council took drastic measures with an assets forfeiture program for those caught speeding.

 

The 550-person town was so furious about the program Mayor J.B. Jackson, who came up with the idea to stop and confiscate vehicles, was booted from office. A municipal court judge and prosecutor were also ousted. Police chief Tracy Hawsey was forced to resign in February.

Texas police fatally shoot 6-year-old boy

In trying to murder an apparently unarmed woman the pigs got two for the price of one when one of their bullets kept going through a wall and took out a 6 year old.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office Deputies also killed the woman, who has not been named. She was alleged to have shown a gun earlier in the day but was found unarmed after the confrontation.

Just another day at the office for the pistol-packing pigs in Texas.

Innocent man instantly shot by police after gamer feud over $2 results in ‘swatting’ prank at Kansas home

“It was a shooting call (at 6:15 p.m.) involving hostages,” said Deputy Chief Troy Livingston, of Wichita police. “The original call, we were told someone had an argument with their mother and dad was accidentally shot, and now that person was holding mother, brother and sister hostage. We learned through that call that a father was deceased, and had been shot in the head. That was the information we were working off of.”

Police arrived at the house prepared for a potentially violent hostage situation, and an officer shot Andrew Finch as he came to the front door.

Sure, because hostage takers always answer the doorbell.

I imagine that they got all dressed in their stormtrooper gear and dammit someone was gonna die!

Hopefully that murdering cop in swatting case will not get away with this. I heard a spokesman say the reason that man is dead was because of the swatting prank He said "if there was no prank we would not be there and that man would be alive." He did not talk about why a innocent man was shot for no reason. I swear most cops seem like total cowards that shoot for any reason no matter how small.

They didn't put on all that heavy gear to go back without a scalp.

Let's see..... someone says "I heard a scream from over there."  So the cops basic routine is to run "over there" and shoot the first person they see.

Wow, so information that you have from a person reporting a situation is enough to shoot someone without hearing their side or confirming anything. Guess they just decided to take it on faith that the caller was as infallible as the bible. *eye rolls*
