This poor woman died in jail. She was ignored, when she was not responsive no one called for medical help. The D.A says sheriffs should not be prosecuted, so I guess even the D.A. is corrupt.  BTW, she was in jail for unpaid parking tickets.

I'd say that any time you put someone in a cage, you are fully responsible for their care. Given they are incapable of helping themselves. Yet we hear too many stories of people dying in prison from treatable complications.
