Fuck NASA.  They should just make the goddamned announcement instead of saying that they are going to make an announcement.  Either that, or just keep their fucking mouths shut until they are ready to make the goddamned announcement.

Are they in the business of science or of playing games?

They have to be a bit inventive in fostering speculation and media attention these days. If it keep public interest simmering and the money flowing, so be it, IMO.

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
