Btw during the perfomrance I saw of Riverside the front man Mariusz Duda's t-shirt said "Reservoir Dogs" on the back... which was really cool hehe.

A little bit. I should probably look into them more. I really like Tony Levin and his work with Peter Gabriel, though. He can create such a pure sound with the bass.

I'm not much of a King Crimson fan at all but I know that he influenced Porcupine Tree a lot for instance... Steven Wilson is a big fan.

But Steven Wilson is my favourite artist of all... he has earned the crowning as the King of Prog IMHO:
